One Laptop Per Child Project #2 (OLPC #2) deployed in the Village 9 T.K. on August 16, 2010
   
 
On August 16, 2010 India Foundation For Children Education and Care (Non-Profit Organization in USA) has joined hands with One Laptop Per Child (OLPC #2) Foundation, Tie-Sydney and Astha Vikas Samiti, Raisingh Nagar to help deploy the One Laptop Per Child Project #2 to help bridge the divide between the people who have access to information and technology. This is the 2nd OLPC project deployed in Rajasthan.(OLPC #2) The OLPC Project #1 was deployed on March 24, 2010 in the Kikarwali Village.
 
The XO has been created by the OLPC Foundation, USA. More than a laptop, it is intended to be an entire self-exploratory world a tool for empowerment and inclusive education for primary school children, between the ages of five and twelve. XO is sturdy, dustproof, shockproof, waterproof, its screen works as well under sunlight and comes with all basic skills developing applications and we can give the basic digital curriculum needed for the state along with the laptop.
